Almaden Morocco

Almaden Morocco was originally established in 2018 in Al Hoceima; a photovoltaique panel manufacturing facility with a 250 MW per annum capacity promoting state-of-the-art technology and advanced automated production processes.
Since then, Almaden has expanded to a significant combined annual capacity of 800MW through the establishment of a second manufacturing facility in Tangier. With a foothold in both cities, Almaden is able to synergistically support GreenPower Morocco as it meets the growing demand for clean energy solutions. Our panels are used in local solar plants developed by our parent company, as well as exported internationally to the USA, EU, and African market. Our manufacturing plants stand as pinnacles of innovation and efficiency, occupying a combined 20,000 square meters of production and storage space. With several hundred kilowatts of installed PV power capacity, we are able to offset the energy used during the manufacturing process with our own green energy. Our panels, facilities, and production equipment are certified according to internationally accepted norms, ensuring reliability, performance, and environmental responsibility.

GreenPower Morocco 1

Situated in the picturesque commune of Hjar Nhal within the Tangier-Assilah region, our solar park stands as a beacon of sustainable energy in the northern territory of Morocco. Spanning 72 hectares of pristine landscape, this facility boasts a capacity of 34 MWc, generating an annual production of 64 GWh. The plant is the first and only of its kind in Northern Morocco, making it a flagship project in GPM’s growing development pipeline.

With the purpose of driving the transition to clean energy forward, our solar park serves as a testament to our unwavering commitment to a greener, more sustainable future for generations to come.
